A New Way to Resolve Conflict
Kelly McGrath Law, PLLC represents a paradigm shift in legal practice, moving away from the adversarial courtroom battles of the past toward a future of healing and resolution. Founded by Kelly Ann McGrath, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator and Collaborative Law attorney, this firm is dedicated exclusively to non-litigation solutions. We believe that legal disputes, especially those involving families, should not destroy relationships or drain life savings. Instead, we offer a sanctuary where conflict is met with compassion, deep listening, and strategic peacebuilding. Located in the serene Miccosukee area of Tallahassee, our practice focuses on helping clients navigate divorce, business disagreements, and community conflicts with dignity and privacy. We do not just settle cases; we help people rebuild their lives.
Family Law Mediation and Collaborative Divorce
Divorce does not have to be a war. Kelly McGrath specializes in Mediation and Collaborative Divorce, processes designed to keep you out of court and in control of your future. In mediation, Kelly serves as a neutral facilitator, guiding couples through difficult conversations about assets, debts, and parenting plans to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. In the Collaborative Law process, each spouse has their own attorney, but everyone commits to resolving the matter without litigation. These approaches are often faster, less expensive, and significantly less traumatic for children than traditional court battles. We create a safe container for you to express your needs and craft a custom settlement that works for your unique family.
Restorative Justice and Peacebuilding
Kelly McGrath is a pioneer in the field of Restorative Justice in Florida. This approach views wrongdoing not just as a broken rule, but as a harm to relationships and the community. We facilitate restorative circles and dialogues that allow those who have been harmed to be heard and those who have caused harm to take accountability and make amends. This powerful process can be used in criminal cases, workplace conflicts, and school settings to transform conflict into an opportunity for growth and healing. Kelly’s background in trauma-informed care ensures that all participants are treated with sensitivity and respect throughout the process.
