LaVia Law, PA is a unique family law practice in Tallahassee dedicated to bridging the ”justice gap.” Founded in 2020 by Jennifer Parker LaVia, a seasoned attorney with over 30 years of legal experience, the firm was created with a specific mission: to provide high-quality legal representation to individuals who make too much to qualify for legal aid but cannot afford the high retainers of traditional law firms. We believe that everyone deserves access to justice, regardless of their income level. This means we offer our services at significantly lower rates than the market standard for private attorneys. For those who cannot afford full representation, we also offer unbundled legal services and hourly advice sessions. This allows you to pay for only the help you need-whether it is reviewing a document, preparing for a hearing, or getting a second opinion-without committing to a large retainer. Experienced and Community-Focused

Jennifer LaVia is a Tallahassee native and a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Before founding LaVia Law, she spent 15 years as a trial lawyer and 19 years teaching at the Florida State University College of Law, where she directed the Veterans Legal Clinic. Her deep roots in the community and her background in legal education inform her practice every day. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of lawyers and serving the Tallahassee community.
