Justice, Dignity, and Hope for All
For over 50 years, Legal Aid of Nebraska has been the backbone of civil justice for low-income residents across the state. As the only statewide non-profit law firm dedicated to providing free legal services, they fight to ensure that poverty is not a barrier to justice. Their mission is clear: to promote dignity, hope, and self-sufficiency by upholding the rights of the most vulnerable. From preventing homelessness to protecting victims of domestic abuse, the attorneys and staff at Legal Aid work tirelessly to level the playing field in the courtroom. With a history dating back to 1963, they have grown into a vital community resource, serving all 93 counties in Nebraska 🏛.

- Debt & Finance: Assisting with Bankruptcy (Chapter 7), fighting wage garnishments, and resolving tax disputes with the IRS to help clients regain financial stability.
- Family Law: Prioritizing safety by representing survivors of Domestic Violence in protection order hearings, divorce, and custody battles.
- Income & Benefits: Helping individuals secure denied Social Security, disability, or unemployment benefits they are entitled to.
