Profile
The ‘Legal Ride’ Attorneys
Schuetze, McGaha, Turner & Ferris, widely known by their brand Legal Ride, is a prominent Las Vegas law firm with a unique specialization in motorcycle accidents. The firm has served the Southern Nevada community since 1993, building a reputation for aggressive representation and deep connection to the biker community. Founding partner Damon Schuetze is a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast who brings his personal passion for riding into his legal practice. This insider perspective allows the firm to reconstruct accidents and challenge insurance companies in ways that general personal injury lawyers cannot. The firm recently expanded its capabilities by merging with Ferris Law, adding the expertise of partner Jennifer L. Ferris, a skilled criminal defense attorney. This combination makes the firm a versatile powerhouse, capable of handling everything from catastrophic injury claims to serious criminal charges.
Comprehensive Legal Services
The firm’s core identity revolves around Personal Injury, specifically for motorcyclists. They understand the unique biases riders face from insurance adjusters and juries, and they work tirelessly to overcome these prejudices to secure fair compensation for road rash, fractures, and traumatic brain injuries. Their practice also covers standard auto accidents, truck collisions, and wrongful death claims. On the criminal defense side, the firm provides robust representation for individuals facing DUI charges, drug offenses, domestic violence, and theft crimes. They believe in a holistic approach to legal defense, often helping clients find rehabilitation and support services while fighting their charges in court.
- Motorcycle Accidents: Specialized representation for riders by riders.
- Auto Accidents: Maximizing settlements for victims of car and truck crashes.
- Criminal Defense: Aggressive defense against felonies and misdemeanors.
- DUI Defense: Protecting your license and freedom after an arrest.
