Multnomah Defenders, Inc. (MDI) is a non-profit public interest law firm dedicated to providing high-quality legal representation to those who cannot afford it. Established in 1982, MDI serves as a critical pillar of the justice system in Portland, defending the rights of indigent individuals in criminal, juvenile, and appellate matters. We believe that justice should not be a luxury reserved for the wealthy.
