The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Inc. is a historic and influential organization dedicated to advancing the professional needs and development of Black lawyers, jurists, and law students throughout Philadelphia and its surrounding areas. For over 70 years, the Association has been a vital force for advocacy, education, and community. It serves as an affiliate of the National Bar Association, connecting a network of approximately 1,000 legal professionals. The mission of the Barristers’ Association is to provide a forum for connection, address issues impacting the Black community, and champion a more just and inclusive legal landscape. It is not a law firm that provides legal services directly to the public, but rather an organization that supports and empowers the lawyers who do. 🏛️
