Profile
America’s Oldest and Largest Lemon Law Firm
For over 30 years, Kimmel & Silverman, P.C. has been the nation’s premier advocate for consumers stuck with defective ‘lemon’ vehicles. With a dedicated office in Pittsburgh, this pioneering law firm brings its unparalleled experience and a powerful record of success to the people of Pennsylvania. Since 1991, they have helped over 100,000 consumers resolve their lemon law claims, earning them the nickname ‘The Lemon Law Experts.’ The firm’s mission is simple and powerful: to provide a strong, effective voice for frustrated drivers against giant automotive manufacturers. They understand the stress and financial burden of a defective car, and they are committed to securing justice for their clients at absolutely no out-of-pocket cost.
A Singular Focus on Consumer Protection for Defective Vehicles
Kimmel & Silverman dedicates its entire practice to Lemon Law and Breach of Warranty claims. This exclusive focus provides their clients with a level of specialized knowledge that is unmatched in the field. They are seasoned experts who know the intricacies of state and federal consumer protection laws and have a long history of making those laws work for their clients.
- Pennsylvania Lemon Law: The firm provides expert representation for owners of new and leased cars, trucks, and motorcycles that have substantial, unrepairable defects. They fight to get clients a full refund, a brand-new replacement vehicle, or significant cash compensation.
- Breach of Warranty (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act): For vehicles that fall outside the strict timelines of the state Lemon Law, including used cars and vehicles with expired manufacturer warranties, the firm utilizes the powerful federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This allows them to pursue claims for any consumer who has experienced repeated repair issues for the same problem while under warranty.
- EV Lemon Law: As technology evolves, so does their expertise. The firm is at the forefront of handling claims for defective electric vehicles (EVs), addressing issues from battery failures to software glitches.
100% Cost-Free Legal Representation
What truly sets Kimmel & Silverman apart is their foundational promise of cost-free representation. Both the Pennsylvania Lemon Law and the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act are ‘fee-shifting’ statutes. This means that if the consumer has a valid claim, the manufacturer is legally responsible for paying all attorney fees and legal costs. This allows the firm to represent clients with absolutely no out-of-pocket expense, ever. The client will never see a bill. This crucial provision levels the playing field, allowing any consumer to stand up for their rights against a multi-billion dollar corporation.
A Legacy of Success and National Recognition
Kimmel & Silverman’s success has earned them national media attention and numerous accolades. The firm has received the ‘Meritorious Recognition’ award from the American Bar Association and has been named the ‘Best Lemon Law Firm’ in various publications. With a 99% success rate, they have a proven track record of delivering results. They are available 24/7 to provide a free case review and help you on the road to resolution.
