Reitan Law Office: A Legacy of Family Advocacy
Three Generations of Legal Service
Reitan Law Office, PLLC is a distinguished family-run law firm located in the prestigious IDS Center at 80 S 8th St, Unit 900. For over 40 years, the Reitan family has dedicated itself to serving the injured and disabled across Minnesota. Founded by Philip R. Reitan in 1975, the firm is built on the core values of trust, compassion, and tireless advocacy. Today, Philip is joined by his sons, Ben and Jacob Reitan, creating a powerful multi-generational team that treats every client like an extension of their own family. Unlike corporate firms where clients are just case numbers, Reitan Law Office prides itself on personal connection. They understand that when a client walks through their door, they are often facing the most difficult financial and physical challenges of their lives.
Focused Areas of Practice
The firm limits its practice to three key areas to ensuring the highest level of expertise and results:
- Workers’ Compensation: Helping injured employees navigate the complex state system to secure wage loss benefits, medical coverage, and retraining.
- Social Security Disability: A core strength of the firm, they guide clients through the often-denied application process and represent them at administrative hearings.
- Personal Injury: Advocating for victims of car accidents, dog bites, and slip-and-falls to ensure they receive fair compensation for their pain and suffering.
Award-Winning Representation
The attorneys at Reitan Law Office are recognized leaders in their field. Philip Reitan is a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist, a certification held by a small percentage of Minnesota attorneys. Both Philip and Ben Reitan have been consistently named to the Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, reflecting their peer recognition and professional achievement. Their deep knowledge of medical-legal issues allows them to effectively cross-examine medical experts and build compelling cases for their clients.
Premier Downtown Location
The firm’s Minneapolis office is situated in the IDS Center, the centerpiece of the downtown skyline. This central location makes it easy for clients from all over the Twin Cities to access top-tier legal representation.
- Access: The office is easily reachable via public transit and is connected to the city’s extensive Skyway system, making visits convenient year-round.
- Accessibility: The building is fully ADA compliant, ensuring that clients with physical disabilities face no barriers to meeting with their attorneys.
Compassionate and Risk-Free
Reitan Law Office operates on a contingency fee basis for all their cases. This "No Win, No Fee" policy means that clients never have to worry about paying legal bills while they are out of work. The firm advances all costs and is only paid when they secure a recovery. Their goal is not just to win a case, but to restore their clients’ dignity and financial stability. By choosing Reitan Law Office, you are choosing a family that will fight for yours. 👨👦👦 ⚖️
