Meet Our Founding Attorney: Djung Tran, Esq.
At the helm of Tran Law Associates is Djung Tran, an accomplished immigration attorney with profound connections to several immigrant communities. Her personal journey as an immigrant—first from Vietnam to Australia as a child, and then to the United States as a teenager—gives her a unique and empathetic perspective on the challenges her clients face. Ms. Tran earned her law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and has since dedicated her career to advocating for immigrants. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (APABA-PA), where she has served on the Executive Committee and chaired the Community Outreach Committee.

A Commitment to Community and Excellence
Djung Tran’s commitment extends beyond the courtroom and into the community. She has been recognized for her extensive pro bono work, educating local community groups about their legal rights. Her dedication has earned her prestigious accolades, including the F. Sean Peretta Award from the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division in 2010 for her work in non-traditional community service programs. In 2009, she was honored as a Diversity Attorney by The Legal Intelligencer for her impactful pro bono services. Ms. Tran is also a published author, with articles appearing in The Legal Intelligencer and the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. Her work with organizations like Asian Americans United, Boat People SOS, and the Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia highlights our firm’s deep roots in the communities we serve.
