Their website advertises free consultations. After speaking with them briefly on 11/24/25, I gave them my credit card number to pay the retainer but did not sign the agreement to work with them. I changed my mind and found a different attorney that better met my needs. On Dec 17th, I asked that the retainer be refunded. They gave me a partial refund, and kept the amount shown on the invoice for the phone call ($118.50).
I disputed it with my credit card company, and they refunded me. Quackenbush fought it, I was refunded, QB appealed it and lost the decision. I just got my refund today 3/30/26, so case closed.
It was really easy to present my evidence, so I’m not sure why they wasted their time appealing it and embarrassing themselves with their failure to take this money from me. I am so glad I went with a different attorney!
I would not recommend this firm. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere. The effort put in to our court case was very minimal but they charged excessively. Upon speaking with the chief operator, she showed no empathy and lack of understanding. I would NEVER hire this firm again.
