Insider Expertise from a Former USPTO Patent Examiner
The Iwashko Law Firm, PLLC offers a distinct strategic advantage to inventors and businesses: the ”insider” perspective. Founded by Lev Iwashko, a former Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), this firm possesses a behind-the-scenes understanding of how patent applications are reviewed, scrutinized, and approved. This invaluable experience allows the firm to anticipate examiner objections before they happen and draft applications that are primed for success. Located in the legal heart of Washington, D.C., The Iwashko Law Firm is a full-service intellectual property practice dedicated to turning abstract ideas into tangible, protected assets.
Technical Mastery Across Industries
Intellectual property law requires more than just legal knowledge; it demands technical fluency. Lev Iwashko holds a triple degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mathematics. This formidable technical background enables the firm to handle complex inventions in fields such as computer hardware, software, medical devices, and semiconductors with ease. Clients never have to ”dumb down” their inventions; the firm speaks their language. Beyond patents, the firm is highly effective in Trademark Law, having successfully rescued numerous trademark applications that were previously denied by the USPTO, securing registration for clients who had almost given up hope.
