ICE Chicago Field Office
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Chicago Field Office is located at 101 West Ida B. Wells Drive in the South Loop area. This facility serves as a primary hub for Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) covering Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kentucky, and Kansas. The office manages the non-detained docket, processes administrative arrests, and oversees the detention and deportation of individuals in violation of U.S. immigration laws. Security and Visiting Rules
Security at the ICE Field Office is extremely strict. All visitors must pass through metal detectors and have their bags x-rayed. Cell phones and electronic devices are generally prohibited inside the facility and may need to be secured in lockers if available, or left outside. A valid government-issued ID is mandatory for entry. Attorneys and legal representatives must present a G-28 form to discuss specific cases.
