Location and Significance
Situated in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle, the courthouse is a landmark building rising 14 stories. It was renamed in 2015 to honor Joseph F. Weis Jr., a distinguished circuit judge. The building’s interior features elaborate courtrooms with historic murals and decorative finishes, reflecting the dignity of the judicial process. It stands as a symbol of the rule of law in Western Pennsylvania.
