The Board of Review is the final step in the administrative appeal process at the county level before going to the state Property Tax Appeal Board or Circuit Court. The three commissioners review evidence to ensure fair and partial assessments. The main office is located within the Cook County Building (City Hall complex).

- Online Filing: Strongly encouraged to file appeals through the Digital Appeals Processing System (DAPS).
- Deadlines: Strict filing deadlines apply for each township. Late appeals are not accepted.
