The First Municipal District is the largest of the Cook County Circuit Court’s districts. The Daley Center houses dozens of courtrooms and the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s main office. Unlike many other courthouses, cell phones are generally permitted in the public areas but must be silenced or turned off inside courtrooms.
