The Job Corps Outreach and Admissions office in Portland serves as the initial point of contact for the U.S. Department of Labor’s premier no-cost education and vocational training program. This office assists young adults ages 16 through 24 in determining their eligibility and applying for enrollment in Job Corps centers, such as the Penobscot Job Corps Center in Bangor or the Loring Job Corps Center in Limestone.
