The Chesapeake Bay Commission is a policy-making authority serving Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Created to guide state and federal actions regarding the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay watershed, the Commission is unique in that it is primarily composed of state legislators. The Annapolis office serves as the administrative hub for the Maryland delegation and the commission’s executive staff, coordinating efforts to improve water quality and manage natural resources across state lines.
Mission and Activities
