The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) is the cabinet-level secretariat responsible for the policy direction and administrative oversight of public safety agencies in Massachusetts. Headquartered at One Ashburton Place, EOPSS coordinates the state's response to crime, natural disasters, and homeland security threats. The office oversees key agencies including the Massachusetts State Police, the Department of Correction, and the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA).
