Chicago Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (RCFL)
The Chicago Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (RCFL) is a specialized digital forensics facility located within the U.S. Customs House in Chicago. As a unique partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and various local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, the RCFL provides forensic support to criminal investigations across Northern Illinois. The laboratory is staffed by certified examiners who analyze digital evidence involved in a wide range of crimes, from terrorism and fraud to violent offenses.

Access to the facility is strictly controlled and limited to authorized personnel and agencies submitting evidence.
