Overview
NSA Annapolis Housing Service Center
The NSA Annapolis Housing Service Center (HSC) is the primary resource for military personnel and their families assigned to the U.S. Naval Academy and Naval Support Activity Annapolis. Located on the North Severn complex, this office provides comprehensive assistance with finding suitable, safe, and affordable housing, both on-base and in the surrounding civilian community.
Housing Support Services
- Family Housing: Manages the application and assignment process for Public-Private Venture (PPV) housing communities, such as those operated by Liberty Military Housing.
- Unaccompanied Housing: Oversees barracks and dormitories for single sailors and junior officers (including buildings like Fuller Hall and Reina Mercedes).
- Community Referrals: Maintains a database of vetted off-base rental properties and facilitates the Rental Partnership Program (RPP), which can offer waived security deposits and rental discounts.
- Tenant Advocacy: Assists service members with lease reviews and mediates landlord-tenant disputes to ensure fair treatment under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act.
Access and Location
The center is situated at 349 Kinkaid Road. Strict Access Control: Because this facility is located within a secure military installation, a valid Department of Defense (DoD) ID card or an approved visitor pass is required for entry. Visitors without base access must coordinate with the Visitor Control Center at Gate 1 or Gate 8 prior to arrival.
