The Pennsylvania Department of Health maintains an administrative office at 2150 Herr Street in Harrisburg. This facility is primarily home to the Bureau of Health Statistics and Registries and the Division of Health Informatics. Unlike the Vital Records office at Forum Place, this location focuses on the collection, analysis, and dissemination of public health data rather than the issuance of birth and death certificates to the public.

Please note that this location is NOT for obtaining birth or death certificates in person. The public counter for Vital Records is located at 555 Walnut Street in downtown Harrisburg. The Herr Street office is an administrative facility involved in data management and is generally not open to the public for walk-in services.
