US Environmental Protection Agency – Region 3
The US EPA Region 3 (Mid-Atlantic) office is the regional headquarters for the Environmental Protection Agency serving Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Recently relocated to Four Penn Center at 1600 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, this federal facility is responsible for implementing and enforcing national environmental laws to protect human health and the environment. Access to the EPA Region 3 office is restricted. All visitors must have an appointment and are required to be pre-registered by an EPA point of contact. Upon arrival, guests must present valid government-issued photo identification and pass through strict security screening, including metal detectors and x-ray bag checks. Unauthorized weapons and dangerous items are strictly prohibited.
Location and Accessibility
The office is strategically located in Center City Philadelphia atop Suburban Station, providing direct underground access to all SEPTA Regional Rail lines. It is also easily accessible via the Market-Frankford Line (15th Street Station) and numerous bus routes. The building is fully ADA compliant, offering wheelchair accessibility and elevators.
