The Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island (ERSRI) is the administrator of the defined benefit retirement plans for the state’s public workforce. Member Services

The Member Service Center, located on the 2nd Floor of 50 Service Avenue, offers direct assistance to members. Key services include:

• Service Purchases: Assistance with purchasing service credit for time spent in other qualified employment or leaves of absence.
• Beneficiary Management: Updating and managing designated beneficiaries for pension and death benefits.
• Disability Processing: Handling applications for ordinary and accidental disability pensions.

Office Access and Security

The ERSRI office is located in a state-owned facility in Warwick. Visitors should proceed to the Member Service Center on the second floor. As a government office, security screening may be in place, and a valid photo identification is required for all in-person appointments or counseling sessions. While walk-ins may be accommodated for simple form drop-offs, appointments are strongly recommended for counseling to ensure a staff member is available to assist you.

Location and Transportation

The facility at 50 Service Avenue is conveniently located off Jefferson Boulevard, offering easy access to I-95 (Exit 13). The building features a large free parking lot for visitors. Public transportation is available via RIPTA Route 29, which runs along Jefferson Boulevard, stopping within walking distance of the office park. The location is also near the T.F. Green Airport intermodal station.
