Kennebec County Treasurer’s Office

- Tax Warrants: issuing warrants to municipal assessors for the collection of the county tax, which funds regional services.
Location and Access
The office is situated in the Hill House, adjacent to the Kennebec County Courthouse and directly across from the Kennebec County Jail. This complex serves as the heart of county government in Augusta. Visitors should be aware that security screening may be required when entering county buildings. The location offers limited visitor parking, and metered street parking is available along State Street. The office operates Monday through Friday, serving both the public and municipal officials.
