The Government Records Council (GRC) is a statutory administrative body established by the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) to ensure transparency in government and protect the public’s right to access government records. Located within the William Ashby Department of Community Affairs Building at 101 South Broad Street in Trenton, the GRC provides a cost-free alternative to the Superior Court for resolving disputes regarding access to public records.
