The Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is located in the Birmingham Towers in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA 🏢. As part of the Department of Human Services, this agency is dedicated to helping residents aged 60 and older live safe, healthy, and independent lives through a wide range of support programs.

• SeniorLine: Operates a central intake line for information, referrals, and care management assessments.
• Protective Services: Investigates reports of elder abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment.
• Nutrition: Coordinates home-delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) and support for senior community centers.
• Long-Term Care: Assists with enrollment in the Waiver program and provides Ombudsman services for nursing home residents.
• Transportation: Facilitates access to ACCESS paratransit and other mobility options for seniors.
