State IT Leadership
The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is the principal information technology agency for the Executive Branch of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Headquartered at 1 Ashburton Place, this office is tasked with modernizing and securing the state’s digital infrastructure. EOTSS provides centralized IT services, ensuring that state agencies have the secure, reliable, and efficient technology tools needed to serve the public effectively.

Office Location
The Boston office serves as the administrative hub for EOTSS leadership. Located in the McCormack Building at Ashburton Place, it sits in the heart of the state government complex, adjacent to the State House. The office coordinates statewide IT initiatives, including data privacy policies and the procurement of technology resources.
Visiting Protocols
Access to the Executive Office is controlled and generally restricted to authorized personnel and scheduled visitors. Being in a key government building, all entrants must pass through security screening in the main lobby, which includes metal detectors and x-ray inspection of personal items. Visitors are required to present valid identification to receive a visitor’s pass before proceeding to the 8th floor.
