District Overview
The Philadelphia Police 39th District serves a diverse section of Northwest Philadelphia, covering neighborhoods such as East Falls, Nicetown, Tioga, and Hunting Park. Based at the station on West Hunting Park Avenue, this district is part of the Northwest Police Division. The officers and leadership, including the District Captain, are dedicated to partnering with the community to reduce crime and improve the quality of life. Services and Community
In addition to emergency patrol response, the 39th District headquarters provides essential administrative services to the public. The district is divided into Police Service Areas (PSAs), and regular Captain’s Town Hall meetings are held to facilitate direct dialogue between law enforcement and community members regarding local safety concerns.
