PA CareerLink® Pittsburgh – Downtown Office is a comprehensive ”one-stop” shop designed to assist job seekers and employers in the Allegheny County region. Located on Penn Avenue, this facility functions as a partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry and local workforce development boards. It provides a wide array of free services to the public, aiming to remove barriers to employment. Whether a visitor is looking for their first job, transitioning careers, or re-entering the workforce after a layoff, the professional staff offers personalized guidance and resources.

• Career Resource Center (CRC): A public computer lab where individuals can search for jobs, create resumes, and file online applications with staff assistance.
• Workshops and Training: Regularly scheduled classes on resume writing, interviewing skills, digital literacy, and soft skills development.
• Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR): On-site assistance for individuals with disabilities seeking to obtain or maintain employment.
